9:00 AM to 12:30 PM — Two chances to enjoy the outdoors with Potomac Conservancy! Take a walk along the C&O Canal to learn all about mushrooms, then stay and help the Conservancy beautify the land and water surrounding Lock 8 at 10:30 PM.

Monday, July 11

6:30 PM to 8:30 PM — Join the Coalition for Smarter Growth for a panel discussion, debating how transit-oriented development can be leveraged to not only create more desirable places to live and work, but also preserve and create new quality housing choices.

7:00 PM to 10:00 PM — Belt out some showtunes and connect with your inner diva (and support the Helen Hayes Awards!) this evening at the Jefferson Hotel.
