Today’s #whatsupwednesday post features Catalogue nonprofits doing great work all over the DC area — from Whole Foods in Georgetown to Children’s National Medical Center across town. Take a look (and see the video here)!

At District Alliance for Safe Housing DC , DASH Advocate Adrienne is busy planning their annual back-to-school BBQ on September 9th.

The Literacy Lab was at Whole Foods in Georgetown today for “5% day,” where they will receive five percent of the day’s net sales!

Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services began distributing their back-to-school supplies to students in need!

Students at Reach Incorporated were interviewed by 103.5 WTOP! Listen to their awesome interviews here.

Hope for Henry treated all of the girls and moms at Children’s National Medical Center’s Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders to makeovers and manicures through a SuperGirl Superfun Princess Pamper Party, helping them feel as beautiful as they are.

Our Daily Bread Fairfax VA’s Project BRIDGE clients and staff got to go outside and Get Moving for their August Life Skills Seminar! Thanks to Jeanette Sergio of Fairfax Adventure Boot camp for helping clients learn easy and affordable ways to stay fit. Good health is another important part of taking control of your life and moving your family forward! ‪

And finally, students are SO excited that DC SCORES programming is less than a month away!

Please check out these nonprofits webpages at cfp-dc.org to learn more about their great work!
